Ensuring Your Future

Envisioning the future

Find out about WAC Plans for 2024

Over the last several years, we have been looking for a solution for our current Community Day Services location, which has outlived its useful life, and has an ever-growing list of repairs and maintenance issues. It is safe, but desperately outdated.

Our hard work paid off, and the perfect solution did appear.

Last summer, Warren Achievement Center acquired a building on the Northwest side of Monmouth. This 10,000 square foot facility, which sits on nearly half of a city block, will be the future Community Day Services location – securing the next 50 years of service. This project is one of the largest in the proud history of Warren Achievement Center.

Our talented maintenance staff have been renovating the building and have framed in classrooms, offices, and more. The new Community Day Services location will include large spaces for all levels of disability, offices, meeting rooms, storage, a large kitchen, cafeteria, open space, and plenty of area outside for activities and parking.

In addition, we will be building a 4400 square foot addition, which will resemble a medical facility. The project is costly, but not unrealistic. Our generous community has allowed us to continue moving forward with the project. The fundraising will continue, as community support is of vital importance. You may wish to donate to the project.

We have been working with a local architectural firm, and things have been going well. Please enjoy the renderings for the project, which reflect the existing building, as well as the addition.
