Warren Achievement Center has a staff of approximately 115.  Department of Human Services-approved training is provided to staff who work directly with our achievers.

Open interviews:  every Tuesday, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at 1220 E. 2nd Ave., Monmouth, IL.  No appointment required.

Warren Achievement Center has openings for the following

Activities Specialist, part time, generally weekdays.

Plans and implements recreation programs.  Carries out recreation goals.  Provides recreation schedules to program staff, interns, volunteers and achievers.  Provides transportation to achievers to attend recreational events.  High school diploma or equivalent required plus one year experience in a human services field.  Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Residential Assistant, full time (1st or 2nd shift) and part time, primarily 2nd & 3rd shifts, some weekends; may include some split shifts.

  • Will provide support and direction to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Must have a driver’s license and must be able to be authorized to pass medications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Floor Supervisor, full time days. Will provide supervision, training, and instruction to individuals with developmental disabilities in order to meet production contracts.  High school diploma or equivalent required plus one year of experience in industry or with people with disabilities.
