Warren Achievement Center has a staff of approximately 125.  Department of Human Services-approved training is provided to staff who work directly with our achievers.

Warren Achievement Center has openings for the following positions:

Residential Assistants, full time and part time, primarily 2nd shift, some weekends.  Full time comes with a generous benefit package.

  • Will provide support and direction to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Must have a driver’s license and must be able to be authorized to pass medications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Developmental Training Aide, part time, Monday through Friday, days approximately 25 hours per week.  Will provide personal care for individuals with disabilities; monitor individuals during lunch time; assist with pre-vocational training; cover classrooms as needed to promote development.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Site Manager, full time, generally 2nd shift, some weekends.  Provides on-site support, direction, delegation, and training to assigned achievers and staff.  Supports program participants in areas of self-care, social and interpersonal skills, independent living skills and leisure time management.  Performs medication administration tasks as delegated and supervised by the agency’s Registered Nurse-Trainers.  Some on-call responsibilities.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required with one year of experience with persons with disabilities.

Van Driver, part time, generally days.  May be some split shifts, morning and afternoon.  Ensures expeditious and safe transportation of passengers.  Secures wheelchairs, operate lift, facilitating safety of passengers and observing traffic safety.  Ensures accurate data recording for computer input.  High school diploma or equivalent required with good driving record.  Will be subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol tests.
