Warren Achievement Center has a staff of approximately 115.  Department of Human Services-approved training is provided to staff who work directly with our achievers.  Open interviews for open positions are held every Tuesday, from 8:30 to 11 a.m.  No appointment required.

Warren Achievement Center has openings for the following positions:

Production Manager, full time, exempt, benefits.  Will coordinate production for the Workshop and Developmental Training programs.  Assigns work to units, designs work stations and accommodations, communicates quality and production goals to staff, inspects materials, monitors product quality.  Is responsible for equipment set-up, monitoring, adjustments, and repair.  Provides training and monitoring to Workshop staff on production.  Purchases materials needed for production.  Maintains regular contact with customers regarding work orders, quality, production issues, deliveries.  Handles shipping and receiving, and performs warehousing functions.  High school diploma or equivalent required plus 2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehousing; valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Accounting Specialist I, full time generally days, Monday through Friday.  Will assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statement and provide back-up to the Chief Financial Officer.  Record agency business transactions to general ledger accounts.  Invoice in Sage software.  Process and perform all aspects of Residential Bookkeeper duties in order to provide back up.  Assist with other bookkeeping and business office functions.  Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus three years’ experience in Accounting or related field, or Associate’s degree in related field.

Residential Assistant for Behaviorally-Challenged, full time, generally 2nd shift and some weekends.

  • Will support individuals in a group home setting, preparing meals, supporting daily life activities, social skills, and independent living.
  • Will interact appropriately with individuals, using redirection, following individual’s program during behavior episodes, facilitating safety, welfare, and growth.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and must be able to be authorized to pass medications.

Residential Assistant, part time, primarily 2nd shift, some weekends; may include some split shifts.

  • Will provide support and direction to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Must have a driver’s license and must be able to be authorized to pass medications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
