In May, 2004, WAC purchased a portion of a cast resin business from an
Iowa business owner looking to retire. In the Fall, we
commissioned a local artist, Tom Lytle, to create a sculpture of the
late President Ronald Reagan. Then Achievement Industries
developed the cast resin process to make replicas of our 9-inch
sculpture. In October, 2004, as part of the Reagan Trail, one of
our Reagan busts was presented to Bruce Chapman, who worked under
President Reagan. Artist Tom Lytle has since sculpted a smaller
version of the bust (pictured left). In February, 2005, we
signed a licensing agreement with the Reagan Foundation in California.
