Warren Achievement Center has a staff of approximately 125.  Department of Human Services-approved training is provided to staff who work directly with our achievers.  Open interviews for open positions are held every Tuesday, from 8:30 to 11 a.m.  No appointment required.

Warren Achievement Center has openings for the following positions:

Residential Assistants, full time, 2 positions, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts, some weekends; also part time positions.

  • Will provide support and direction to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Must have a driver’s license and must be able to be authorized to pass medications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Healthcare Coordinator, part-time, days.  Will provide continuity in Health care services to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. Coordinates all health care appointments under the direction of the RN.  Schedules/confirms necessary laboratory work/tests/referrals to medical professionals.  Provides for follow-up visits as ordered by a physician or health professional ensuring necessary health care to adults served and to meet agency and state guidelines.  Requires high school diploma or equivalent, one year experience, and driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Van Driver, part time, substitute.  Will ensure expeditious and safe transportation of passengers.  Secure wheelchairs, operate lift, facilitating safety of passengers and observing traffic safety.  Ensures accurate data recording for computer input.  Requires valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and high school diploma or equivalent.
