Warren Achievement Center has a staff of approximately 125.  Department of Human Services-approved training is provided to staff who work directly with our achievers.

Warren Achievement Center has openings for the following positions:

Residential Assistants, full time and part time, primarily 2nd & 3rd shifts, some weekends.

  • Will provide support and direction to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Must have a driver’s license and must be able to be authorized to pass medications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Production Assistant, full time, weekdays.  Provides supervision, training, assistance, and instruction to individuals with developmental disabilities in order to meet production contracts.  High school diploma or equivalent required, plus experience in industry or with persons with disabilities.

Developmental Training Specialist, full time, Monday through Friday, benefits.  Serves a caseload of individuals with disabilities requiring Community Day Services.  Attends Individualized Service Plan meetings and serves on the program team.  Develops structured program ideas.  Implements training in the areas of pre-vocational training, motor skills development, social skills development, personal care, community integration, and life enhancement skills.  Implements behavior management programs.  High school diploma or equivalent required plus one year of experience with people with disabilities.

Developmental Training Aide, part time, Monday through Friday, days approximately 25 hours per week.  Will provide personal care for individuals with disabilities; monitor individuals during lunch time; assist with pre-vocational training; cover classrooms as needed to promote development.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Site Manager, full time, generally 2nd shift, some weekends.  Provides on-site support, direction, delegation, and training to assigned achievers and staff.  Supports program participants in areas of self-care, social and interpersonal skills, independent living skills and leisure time management.  Performs medication administration tasks as delegated and supervised by the agency’s Registered Nurse-Trainers.  Some on-call responsibilities.
