Warren Achievement Center has a staff of approximately 115.  Department of Human Services-approved training is provided to staff who work directly with our achievers.  Open interviews for open positions are held every Tuesday, from 8:30 to 11 a.m.  No appointment required.

Warren Achievement Center has openings for the following positions:

Accounting Specialist I, full time, benefits, generally Monday through Friday.  Responsible for data entry including accounts payable/receivable, inventory, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping duties.  Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of experience, or an Associate’s degree in an Accounting or related field.

Residential Assistants, part time, some weekends and split shifts included; also part time positions, 2nd & 3rd shifts, including some weekends.  Particular need for 3rd shift staff.

  • Will provide support and direction to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Must have a driver’s license and must be able to be authorized to pass medications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Residential Assistants – Behaviorally Challenged, full and part time.  Starting pay:  $12/hr.  Will support individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting with meals, daily life activities, social skills and independent living.  Will interact appropriately with individuals using redirection, following individual’s program, during behavioral episodes to facilitate safety, welfare, and growth.  High school diploma and valid driver’s license required.  Experience preferred.

Healthcare Coordinator, part time, 25-29 hours per week, generally days, Monday through Friday.

  • Will provide continuity in healthcare services to meet needs of persons with disabilities.
  • Will coordinate all health care appointments under the direction of the RNs.
  • Schedules/confirms necessary lab work/tests/referrals to medical professionals.
  • Provides for follow-up visits as ordered by a healthcare professional, meeting guidelines.
  • Facilitate proper documentation of Achiever services.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, one year experience and a valid driver’s license.
