Warren Achievement Center has a staff of approximately 125.  Department of Human Services-approved training is provided to staff who work directly with our achievers.

Warren Achievement Center has openings for the following positions:

Residential Assistants, part time, 2nd & 3rd shifts, some weekends.

  • Will provide support and direction to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Must have a driver’s license and must be able to be authorized to pass medications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Developmental Training Aide, part time, Monday through Friday, days approximately 25 hours per week.  Will provide personal care for individuals with disabilities; monitor individuals during lunch time; assist with pre-vocational training; cover classrooms as needed to promote development.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Van Driver, full time, generally days.  Ensures expeditious and safe transportation of passengers.  Secures wheelchairs, operate lift, facilitating safety of passengers and observing traffic safety.  Ensures accurate data recording for computer input.  High school diploma or equivalent required with good driving record.  Will be subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol tests.
